Irish Street Medicine Symposium 2017 Irish Street Medicine Symposium 2017 Program
The Symposium is an excellent opportunity to join a growing community of health and social care workers, academics, policy makers and planners working together to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable in our society – homeless people, drug users, prisoners and vulnerable migrants.
There will be ample opportunity to share information about different services for homeless people and other marginalised groups, to identify gaps and to highlight care, innovation and solutions.
Presentations and workshops will focus on new research, innovative initiatives and new ways to promote health and wellbeing among vulnerable populations.
Themes include the A&E Experience, Families in Homelessness, Hep C treatment, Mental Health and Self Care for Workers.
